Every story has a beginning. This is the beginning of icarus-i. Among these pages will be the ongoing adventures of Captain Jonathan Cutright and the crew of the icarus-interplanetary spacecraft. From the shores of Cape Canaveral to the vast ocean of space, icarus-i will take you on a voyage like no other.

This is my story, a work of Science Fiction that I have always dreamed of writing but have never found the time, at least not until now. I'm Ray J. Lonsdale, graphic designer by trade, storyteller at heart. I hope that you will come along for the ride as this journey of imagination unfolds. Be sure to bookmark the site and send the link along to your friends and colleges. If you're an avid reader of the Science Fiction genre, I invite you to climb aboard and see where the icarus can take you. As the title suggests, both tragedy and triumph await as we soar ever higher, reaching for the sun and the distant stars beyond.

As you will soon discover, icarus-i is still a work in progress. I'm hoping that as this adventure is written and pages added, you'll keep coming back for the latest uplink from our intrepid explorers and like a comic book series or the movie serials of old you'll be anxiously awaiting the resolution from each new installment and every nail-biting cliffhanger.
